Oolong is a traditional Chinese tea (Camellia sinensis) produced through a unique process including withering under the strong sun and oxidation before curling and twisting. Oolongs are known for their distinct flavor profiles ranging from fruity to floral. Though many nations have cultivars of Oolongs, the Island of Taiwan and the Fujian region of China seem to have an especially great environment with high altitudes and a proper balance of moisture to provide this exquisite tea.
